Known as a leading authority on color and image, Color Me Beautiful launched its complete cosmetics and skin care brands in the late 1980s as a result of the overwhelming success of the book by the same name.
NetServices was sought out by the Color Me Beautiful (CMB) IT management to assist with developing a comprehensive data ingestion, automation, and reporting application on the IBM Domino collaboration platform. NetServices developed the automated algorithm to retrieve sales/marketing data from CMB’s IBM X400 series server, and prepared automated calculation for “down-line” compensation for all of CMB’s sales staff. With the final delivery of our automated solution, this critical activity – which took in-house analysts a weekend to process – was completed automatically every night, with 100% accuracy and record speed. Full web-based access was availed securely to the accounting department, as well as individual sales staff, so that each party could readily determine her compensation on near real-time basis; along with the full down-line percentage calculations for those individuals who had a recruited/retained sales down-line contributing to the respective individual.
